Snacks can be tricky business especially when you are first starting out on a real food lifestyle. It can be habit to reach for snacks that you have always reached for in the past, but it is all about thinking outside of the box… literally. In my case before my Real Food Pledge, I used to grab snacks like… Weight Watches or Aitken Bars, ‘healthy’ muesli bars, a bread roll from the bakery or a sugar filled low-fat yogurt, as I hurried through the day.
I know better now, but I had been condition that way for years and I believed that those items were healthy because they were low-fat or low-calorie.
So what are some good ideas for snacks? I have created a list for you to give you some healthy inspiration as you travel along your real food journey. Some of the items have links to recipes to make it easy for you. There are so many fresh ideas, I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed creating this list.

Hi Caralee
Why can I know longer find the coconut flour, banana and chocolate muffin? My son loves them but I haven’t made them for ages.
Hi Vic. I am not sure. I will look in to it for you. In the mean time you can use the Healthy Banana Choc Loaf recipe and put it in muffin cases instead of a loaf tin. Here it is https://realfoodpledge.com/?p=2442 🙂 xx
